On May 7, Russian airborne cruise missiles struck facilities at the Shkolny airfield and Odessa International Airport used by the AFU for strikes on Snake Island and Russian Armed Forces positions in the Kherson and Nikolaev regions.

✈️ The Polish army will receive several hundred drones this year


Polish Defense Ministry head Mariusz Blaszczak said that several hundred Warmate, Gladius and FlyEye drones will be delivered to the Polish military this year.


Deliveries will be carried out under contracts with the Polish UAV manufacturer WB Group. Part of the procurement was envisioned back in January this year, however, it is fully financed under the terms of the recently passed Law on Defense of the Fatherland. Details of the contracts are not disclosed.

🇺🇺🇦 Results of the firing on Odessa - Rybar analysis


On May 7, Russian airborne cruise missiles struck facilities at the Shkolny airfield and Odessa International Airport used by the AFU for strikes on Snake Island and Russian Armed Forces positions in the Kherson and Nikolaev regions.


After the Kanatovo airfield in Kirovograd Region was taken out of service, the tactical aviation was redeployed to the Nikolayev and Odessa Regions. On 7 May it was taken out of action.


The @rybar team analyzed the strikes on the Shkolny airfield in Odessa and was able to pinpoint at least four points at which fire was carried out.


▪️Two of the four launchers of the air defense battery were knocked out. One of them was located on the runway of the Odessa airport.

On the Kamenskoye-Orekhov-Gulyaipole line, fighting continued south of Orekhov and on the approaches to Gulyaipole. Position fighting also continued east of Gulyaypol to Velyka Novoselovka.
