Three of them were awarded the title of Hero of the DPR: Denis Dzhumurat (posthumously), Roman Vorobyov and Yevgeny Donchenko.


Senior Lieutenant Denis Dzhumurat fought since 2015. First in Logvinovo, then in Granitnoye, Sakhanka. He died in Mariupol, where the group he was part of was ambushed and gave battle. Denis destroyed fortified machine-gun point of the enemy, managed to divert fire to himself, saving lives of his comrades-in-arms. For their sake he sacrificed himself.


The tank, the crew member of which was Evgeniy Donchenko, was the first to break into Volnovakha. But he found himself in a camouflaged ambush of the enemy consisting of 4 tanks, 3 BMPs and manpower. The crew took the fight. Being under heavy fire, the tank received many hits, its armor was punctured. Nevertheless, in an unequal fight, thanks to the courageous actions of the crew, two BMP-2s, two tanks and the enemy's manpower were destroyed.


The guys are real heroes.
