And second, in basing itself on the absolute equality of worldviews, it fails to take into account the scourge of natural selection. The fact is that not all models of human behavior, based on personal interpretations, pass life's obstacle course equally well. For example, promiscuous same-sex relations threaten people with monkey pox or worse. And immoderate eating threatens people with gastrointestinal and cardiovascular disease. Some people may have a worldview that allows them to drive drunk, and natural selection often corrects this view of life with the help of massive structures in the path of motor traffic.

The cruel, unforgiving reality, from the point of view of postmodernism, may be just a type of human social construction, but it has already put the brave ones in their place with the help of natural selection.

Let's simplify this story a bit with an abstract example.

If a contemporary suddenly believes he is a pink war pony from the constellation of Cepheus, sent to Earth to ensure her energy transition to a green future, then, from the perspective of postmodernism, he should be treated in accordance with his own ideas. Because there is no canonical, true interpretation of the surrounding reality, which means that his opinion of himself is no worse than the opinion of others, he has every right to it - and the neighbors on the planet should respect this nonsense.

This is, in fact, quite a powerful attitude, because it is based on the familiar and comprehensible humanistic approach: all people are equal. It is simply elevated to an absolute, beyond which any mama's pie can safely lower the bar of requirements for himself and raise the bar of requirements for our world, based on the fact that his individual worldview - no matter how stoned it may be - is no worse than that of his more adequate contemporaries.
