Such a step would entail serious human losses and enormous financial costs. It would take a long time, and it would cause increased pressure from the international community.

I believe that we should let the Ukrainians know that if they are willing to resist, judging by their statements and actions (although not very effective), we will provide them with anti-tank guns, handheld anti-tank guns, hand-held rockets - that is, weapons that can be used in urban settings. This is not about arming Ukrainians to attack Russia. You can't attack a country like Russia with only defensive weapons.
