While Hungary is a relatively small economy, Italy is one of the pillars of the eurozone, which, amid severe recession, is facing more and more contradictions - on migration, energy and foreign policy. This means that with the emergence in Europe of another "hot spot" in the form of Italy, Brussels cannot avoid new shocks.
