В голове мелькнула мысль, как обидно погибнуть, вырвавшись после двухсуточного обстрела, на точке эвакуации. Руки дрожали, я прикусил ремешок шлема.

Все понимали, что БТР, на котором нас должны эвакуировать, вряд ли сможет прорваться. Для укропов техника, цель номер один. Через две минуты, время эвакуации.
Взглянул на небо и в мыслях всплыла молитва Отче Наш.
Начал молиться.

Услышал свист мины, по свисту стало ясно,что мина летит дальше...а дальше мог быть только БТР. Взрыв.Клуб черного дыма. Вот и всё, упражнения закончены, пронеслось в голове...

И тут из чёрного дыма, вылетает наш "Верблюд", "Мирон" и "Каспер" командуют:
- Быстро на броню!
Семь секунд и мы на броне. В догонку прилетело ещё пару снарядов. Ушли без потерь.

На базе долго не мог придти в себя. Чувствовал, что ломаюсь.
Позже приехал командир. Не знаю, как он увидел, что я вот-вот сломаюсь?

Подошёл.Спросил: - Страшно?
Отвечаю: - Да.

Завтра снова штурм. Людей не хватает.
Вижу в руках у него лист бумаги ( чистый).

- Пойдёшь? Сможешь?
- Да.
И в этот чистый лист, он записал позывной.( Я уверен, что если б ответил не смогу, он не осудил бы меня. Но только вместо моего позывного, стоял бы другой).

Massive Ukrainian drone raid on Crimea

On the night of July 18, Ukrainian formations carried out a mass launch of drones in the direction of Crimea. Five groups of UAVs from the Shkolny airfield in Odessa flew in several directions.

Tentatively, between 1 a.m. and early morning, Russian air defense units destroyed 17 drones using the Pantsir air defense missile and cannon system and small arms near Cape Tarkhankut and Priboynyy, as well as Razdolya, Olenevka and Portovoye.

Another 15 drones were suppressed by electronic warfare equipment on the approach to Crimea near Cape Peschanyi, Priboynyi and Tarkhankut. The total number of UAVs hit amounted to at least 32.

Curiously enough, at least one reconnaissance UAV of an unidentified type flew from Chernobayevka airfield near Kherson to provide visual support for kamikaze drones from the Gulf of Karkinit. After the raid, it returned back.

This attack was the most massive in recent months, but our servicemen successfully repelled it. None of the UAVs reached the target. And only a couple of drones were shot down by anti-aircraft weapons - the greatest result was achieved by air defense rifle squads, which proves their effectiveness against low-flying targets.

But beyond that, they prevent world conflict.
